After the presentation by the commune last night, we are full of hope that the Gouille à Vaudan will soon become a public space for relaxation — a place to swim, walk, enjoy nature, and simply spend time outdoors. Of course, there is still work to be done.

In the meantime, our club will maintain the existing contract with Vaudan SA, which allows our open-water swim members to continue swimming there during the week.
Adults aged 18+ who are able to swim 500 meters in open water can become open-water swim members by signing the disclosure confirming that they understand the rules, regulations, and that they swim at their own risk.

We have reduced the price of this membership from 35 CHF to 10 CHF per year. The membership fees will be used to cover two annual water-quality tests (one in May and one in August). If there is any budget left, it will be used for the open-water swimmers’ social event.
