Putting safety and fun together

Our swimming school offers lessons to children from 2.5 years old and up. Our focus is on attaining water-safety while learning various swimming strokes and techniques.

Our mission is to develop confidence and encourage enjoyment in the water through a mix of games and exercises. We follow the swimming programme devised by Swiss Aquatics, a developmental programme of ten levels that requires swimmers to master certain fundamental techniques at each level before they advance.

We offer swimming lessons in groups created according to a child's skill level, and individually in private lessons.

LESSON FORMATS

Adapted to your child's age

The length and group size of each lesson is tailored to the age of the swimmer, ensuring the right balance of focus, energy and fun. Below are general guidelines but we encourage children to join at any age and ability and we will try to find the right group for them. 

Mini Swimmers

Ages 2.5 - 4 years

⏱️ 30 minutes per lesson

👥 Maximum 3 children per group

A gentle introduction to the water. Building comfort, trust and first water skills through play in a safe, small-group environment.

Young Swimmers

Ages 4 – 7 years

⏱️ 45 minutes per lesson

👥 Maximum 6-7 children per group

Developing core swimming techniques, water confidence and progressing through Swiss Aquatics levels with games and structured exercises.

Junior Swimmers

Ages 8 – 14 years

⏱️ 60 minutes per lesson

👥 Maximum 8 children per group

Refining technique across all strokes, building endurance and speed. Preparing for advanced levels and optional competition swimming.

RULES

What you need to know

  • All lessons take place at the Mondzeu indoor pool - Chem. des Vernes 10, 1936 Verbier - unless otherwise stated

  • All children should come to lessons wearing a swimsuit (or a combi - highly recommended for mini swimmers), cap (we will provide one at their first lesson), and well-fitting googles. 

  • Undressing and dressing are not included in the course time.

  • The pool area is exclusively accessible to people in swimwear. Bags and personal belongings must remain in the changing room.

  • Children should always use the toilet and have a shower before their lesson

  • Screaming and running in the pool area is forbidden

  • No photos or videos can be taken during lessons. These can be taken exceptionally on the day of your child’s test lesson.

Our schedule is available in two formats so you can easily find the right group for your child. View it directly in our Google Calendar for a live overview, or download the full schedule as an Excel file with a detailed breakdown of all groups and time slots.

At launch, only the Autumn, Spring and Year-round schedules will be available – the winter schedule will be added closer to the season.

Choose the right lesson for your child

We offer three group options across the year - a year round program, an autumn & spring program, and a winter-only program. All prices are per child and include one lesson per week. Enquire about our second and third child discounts. Annual membership of CHF 35 applies to all options.

Payment options

Pay by bank transfer, TWINT or cash. Commune vouchers accepted at the start-of-season with registration days in mid-August.

Level tests

Swiss Aquatics level tests are held twice per year — in December and in April (for those in the winter-only progromme) . Your child's progress is tracked continuously.

Missed lessons

We cannot refund missed lessons, but we can arrange a replacement on another day and time within the same period.
